KDR-D12 Smart Ride Display Firmware Update Data 20260124

This firmware update is exclusively for the KDR-D12.
Please note that attempting to install it on the KDR-D11, KDR-D11SE, KDR-D21, KDR-D21SE, or KDR-D22 may cause the device to malfunction.

■ Update Details

1. Fixed an issue where the connection would disconnect after a certain period of time when connected to an iPhone running iOS 26 or later.

■ Update Procedure

1. Check the current version in the settings before updating.
2. Download and unzip the ZIP file.
3. Add only the update file to a microSD card that already contains the Smart Record Display files (a microSD card formatted by the KDR-D12).
4. Turn on the Smart Record Display.
5. Once it boots to the home screen (where the front and rear camera images are displayed), insert the microSD card containing the update file.
6. Once the microSD card is inserted, you will be prompted to confirm the update. Select "Update."
7. Wait a few minutes for the update to complete.
8. After it restarts, you will be prompted to update again; select "Cancel," then perform a format via the settings.
9. The process is complete once it operates normally and the updated version is confirmed in the settings.

■ Notes

1. Updates cannot be performed using a macOS PC.

2. The update will not start if the microSD card does not contain the KDR-D12 files (i.e., if it has not been formatted by the KDR-D12).

3. You must unzip the ZIP file and add only the update data contained within to the microSD card. The update will not start if the ZIP file itself is added to the microSD card.
4. Formatting after the update will erase previous driving data. Please back up any necessary driving data to another storage medium or use a different microSD card for the update beforehand.
