■ Service Campaign

We have confirmed that the following symptoms may occur when updating with the download version.

"The setting item will be set differently from the default."

"A debug function is displayed in the parking surveillance function."

"G-sensor sensitivity becomes abnormally sensitive."

"It won't turn on, or it freezes."

■Target: Please check the update date in the version information, which can be found in the settings, and ensure it says "2024〇〇〇〇 release".

This applies to versions prior to 20240431 at the time of purchase.

*Please use the download version for purchases made on or after 20240501.

■Update Contents

  • This update includes fixes to prevent bugs from occurring when updating the downloaded version.
  • The home screen displays the frequency in use, allowing you to check the settings for "Indoor Mode W52" and "Outdoor Mode W56DFS".
  • A file lock button is displayed on the home screen to allow manual file locking.

■ Limit one per household.

You can update multiple devices with just one microSD card. One card per household is allowed for both KDR-D11 and KDR-D21.

*The following instructions are only for this product (SD card with update data).

■ Update Procedure

  1. Please insert the SD card containing the update data before starting.
  2. Please turn on the smart record display.
  3. The update will start automatically when you launch the application.
  4. Please wait a few minutes for the update to complete.
  5. Once the screen finishes, please remove the SD card containing the update data.
  6. Please turn off the power, and then turn the Smart Record Display back on.
  7. After that, if it operates normally and you check the version in the settings and see that it has been updated, then you are done.
