KDR-D11 Smart Ride Display Firmware Update Data 20240614

This firmware update data is exclusively for KDR-D11.
Please be aware that installing it on KDR-D11SE, KDR-D12, KDR-D21, KDR-D21SE, or KDR-D22 may cause the device to malfunction.

*If you mistakenly install it on an unsupported model, please contact Kaedear Co., Ltd. Customer Support.

■ Please purchase a microSD card if you meet the following conditions:

The following symptoms have been observed when performing an update using the download version:

"Settings items are different from the default settings."

"The device does not power on or freezes."

■ Target: Open "Version" from "Settings" and check the update date "2024〇〇〇〇 release."

Target devices are those with versions prior to 20240431 at the time of purchase.

*For purchases made on or after 20240501, please use the download version.

■ Update Contents

1. Displays the frequency in use on the home screen so that the setting status of "Indoor Mode W52" and "Outdoor Mode W56DFS" can be confirmed.
   

■ Update Procedure

1. Check the current version from Settings.
2. Download and extract the ZIP file.
3. Add the update data as a standalone file to a FAT32-formatted microSD card of 32GB or less. (Updates cannot be performed with 64/128/256GB microSD cards that do not support FAT32 format.)
   *Owners of KDR-D21 can update KDR-D11 using 64/128/256GB microSD cards. Add the update data as a standalone file to the microSD card while retaining the smart record display files (a microSD card formatted by KDR-D21).
4. Turn on the smart ride display.
5. Once the device starts up and reaches the home screen, insert the microSD card with the added update data.
6. Upon inserting the microSD card, you will be prompted to confirm the update. Select "Update."
7. Please wait a few minutes for the update to complete.
8. After restarting, you will be prompted to confirm the update again. Select "Cancel" and remove the microSD card.
9. If it then operates normally and the version checked from Settings is updated, the process is complete.

■ Notes

1. Updates cannot be performed on macOS PCs.
2. For microSD cards 64/128/256GB or larger, it is possible to format them with KDR-D21, then put the KDR-D11 update data on them, and update the KDR-D11.
3. You need to extract the ZIP file and add the update data within the file as a standalone file to the microSD card. If you add the ZIP file directly to the microSD card, the update will not start.
